The mysterious missing millionaire-to-be has come forward two days before the deadline to claim a winning $24.1 million lottery ticket, state gaming officials announced Wednesday.
The lucky person bought the winning ducat at Renu Corp Grocery & Tobacco in Tribeca on May 25, 2016.
“I don’t remember who it was,” said store owner Bobby Patel. “I didn’t see the face or anything.”
On Tuesday, the individual finally claimed the winnings at the lottery’s Beaver St. customer service center in lower Manhattan, gaming officials said.
